Our CSR Pillars

Education Initiatives

Waaree is dedicated to improving access to quality education in underserved communities. We support school infrastructure development, provide scholarships to meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds, and run digital literacy programs in rural areas. Our flagship initiative, Waaree Vidya Jyoti, has empowered over 10,000 students with access to modern learning resources and trained 500+ teachers in digital pedagogy.

Healthcare

Our healthcare programs focus on maternal and child health, preventive care, and access to affordable treatment. We organize regular health camps in rural and semi-urban areas, provide free eye check-ups and spectacles, support community health workers, and partner with local hospitals to offer subsidized treatment for critical illnesses. Over 2 lakh people have benefited from our healthcare outreach programs to date.

Environment & Sustainability

As a clean energy company, environmental stewardship is at our core. Our CSR environmental initiatives include large-scale tree plantation drives, water conservation and rainwater harvesting projects, waste management programs, and renewable energy installations for community buildings. We have planted over 5 lakh trees and installed solar systems in 200+ community facilities, reducing carbon emissions by an estimated 15,000 tonnes annually.

Community Development

We invest in holistic community development through infrastructure improvement, skill development programs, women empowerment initiatives, and support for local livelihoods. Our projects include building sanitation facilities, providing clean drinking water systems, vocational training centers for youth, and self-help group programs for women. These initiatives create sustainable change and foster self-reliance in communities near our operations.

Waaree India Foundation

The Waaree India Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Waaree Energies, established to drive meaningful social change. The foundation works closely with NGOs, government bodies, and community leaders to design and implement impactful programs aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our focus areas include quality education (SDG 4), good health and wellbeing (SDG 3), clean water and sanitation (SDG 6), and decent work and economic growth (SDG 8).
